The talk for the children this Sunday will be about the idea that what we receive is linked to what we give. So if we're "stingy" with people, and offer them little by way of love or forgiveness, our hearts will be hungry; but if we're spiritually generous our hearts will be full.

This teaching about giving & receiving is connected with teachings about judgment: the Lord says "Give, and it will be given to you,"and in parallel with this He says, "Judge not, and you shall not be judged" (Luke 6:37, 38). The talk for the adults this Sunday will be about judgment. Is all judgment forbidden, or are there good and bad ways of judging? How can we avoid being "judgy" while also looking honestly at the distinction between good and evil?
